Third Quadrant Design the world's first student team to design and build a net-zero academic space on their own campus.

We would like to acknowledge that the land on which we gather is the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the xwməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam) People

Founded in September 2019 by 3 female engineering students, Third Quadrant Design brings together passionate students from various disciplines to learn and act on our climate crisis. Our team utilizes innovative technologies to design and build regenerative high-performance buildings.

We are undefeated at The U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathlon® Design Challenge collegiate competition with our 2020 and 2021 submissions.

As of now, we are working on our 2024 submission to the Solar Decathlon Design Challenge: Vancouver Special 2.0.
